About the Presentation
Mindfulness is often regarded as the prelude to meditation proper. Some meditation teachers even discourage pupils from it. On the other hand such a great guru as Thich Nhat Hanh wrote a wonderful introduction to it entitled "The Miracle of Mindfulness". In reality mindfulness is NOT an alternative to meditation but is a corollary to it. It is difficult to sit crossed legged meditating in Pitt Street but mindfulness can be profitably practised anywhere, anytime. It can even lead us naturally into the heart of Blavatsky's first Fundamental Proposition.
