Revisioning the Imagination presented by Paul Navoev
Opening with an encounter with the work of William Blake, this talk is an invitation and inquiry, an open revision and revisioning, of the notion of the imagination; an exploration that draws upon currents in the western philosophical and esoteric traditions, the creative arts and other sources, so that we may find ourselves, as Wallace Stephens said, more truly alive and more strange. Paul Navoev works in education as a school counsellor and has a deep and abiding passion for lifelong learning and authentic living. As an independent researcher and occasional artist, Paul finds inspiration in the humanities and sciences and western and eastern spiritualities.
