Ayya Yeshe
Ayya Yeshe is an Australian-Tibetan nun, founder of the Bodhicitta Foundation, an internationally engaged community offering social work in the slums of India to some of the world’s poorest and most oppressed people. She lived in the slums among the so-called ‘untouchables’, organising skills training for women and education programs for children, all free of charge.
