A Mandala for a Modern Age - the Emblem & Motto of the Theosophical Society

ABOUT THE PRESENTATION

What is the inner meaning of the emblem with its ancient symbolism and enigmatic connotations? What is the contemporary relevance of this cosmic diagram? This talk will explore aspects of the emblem and motto of the T.S. and examine how they relate to our Three Objects and some of the fundamental universal principles expounded by H.P. Blavatsky.

ABOUT THE PRESENTER

Stephen McDonald has been an active member of the Theosophical Society since 1976 and a past President of Blavatsky Lodge. He was recently elected National President of the T.S. in Australia. During his years of membership in the T.S., Stephen has participated in many events both within Australia and internationally. He has a background in natural therapies and tertiary education. He aims to cultivate a deeper understanding of classic theosophical teachings by demonstrating their relevance and importance in contemporary thought.

Visitors are very welcome. All classes are free but donations are always appreciated to contribute towards the running costs of our center.
